There are so many benefits to being a member of Melbourne’s #1 most active single parents group, and we think these benefits set us well apart from other single parent groups out there:

  • FREE annual christmas party
  • FREE quarterly Family Fun Day
  • FREE annual Single Parents Active Kids birthday party
  • When you RSVP to certain limited-offer special events, we pay for you now, you pay us much later. More time for you to save!
  • We have saved our members over $100,000 in the last few years!
  • Camps are paid for you in advance, you pay us much later and generally in instalments, making managing the finances much easier and less stressful! We even offer different types of camps (catered/non-catered, tents/cabins/interstate, family-friendly/parents only)!
  • A HUGE events list offered to you, all you have to do is RSVP!
  • We do hold public liability insurance as the safety of our members and their kids is paramount!
  • We encourage our members to offer suggestions for Melbourne-wide events, so they have a say in what we do and where we go!
  • HEAPS of wonderful families and new friends to make!

There is so much more to our organisation, but these are some of the things that are available to you when you become a member of Single Parents Active Kids!

‘I don’t have lots of family around, and this group feels like a rather large family.’

‘A social group for single parents and their children has been reaching out to single parents across Victoria to let them know they’re not alone.’ - Star News Group on Single Parents Active Kids, 12th of May, 2009.

‘It takes the pressure off the parents so they don’t have to organise everything themselves.’

‘Absolutely brilliant initiative. I’m neither a child nor a single parent, but this organisation really fills a hole in the community and empowers and inspires people through a simple, yet powerful, idea: get active and live your life.’
