Good Morning Fellow Single Parents Active Kids how are we and those gorgeous kids?? Firstly thanks to Jo for giving me the information about this oh so different event, love variety and this one definitely is a first for our group always looking at offering wonderful events to get together.

16 out of the 80 tickets are already taken, that’s why after speaking to the main man I have made the deadline to rsvp well before Xmas (he is very confident after Xmas with all the vouchers and so on it will be sold out, so we need to get in quick), payments are not due until mid March (info below). I will be E-mailing him by this time next week with initial numbers, so please if you are a million per cent sure you want to be involved shoot through your rsvp asap.

SYNOPSIS:

The Train departs from Puffing Billy’s Belgrave Station. Please ensure you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the departure time.Our enclosed dining carriages ensure your journey is both comfortable and enjoyable (they’re even heated in the cooler months!). During the forward journey your entree will be served whilst you are entertained by our talented theatre group who takes you on a journey of ‘Who Dunnit’! After your forward journey, you’ll disembark at the historic Nobelius Packing Shed.

In the rustic informality of the ‘Nobelius Packing Shed’, you’ll be sure to enjoy the blazing log fire during the cooler months. Our carvery includes various roast meats, vegetables and salads, and is followed by various dessert options. You and the other patrons at your table will get to know each other whilst helping us solve the murder mystery! After the murderer has been brought to justice, the train driver will blow the whilstle before the train departs.

A range of beverages, including local Yarra Valley wines, are available to purchase both on board the train and in the ‘Nobelius Packing Shed’.

The return journey back to Belgrave wraps up the evening, with a complimentary glass of port, tea, coffee and dinner chocolates and served.

TIMES/LOCATION:

• 7.00pm on selected Saturday evenings Murder on the Puffing Billy Express departs from Puffing Billy’s Belgrave station. Please ensure you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the departure time. Arrival back into Belgrave station is approximately 11.30pm.

DRESS CODE:

Totally optional, but why not get into the spirit of it all and dress like they did in the 20′and 30′s.

Saturday 22nd of April.

COST/3 COURSE MEAL:

$99 per person (a saving of $13 per person), no matter the age. Recommended 10 and over, it is a late night.

There are no minimum numbers for this event, so will definitely go ahead even if we only get 8, have the feeling we are going to get a lot more, but the more information I give the better.

The cost does include a 3 course meal and obviously the entertainment where 15 actors are involved.

RSVP’S:

After speaking to the management I said I would give them a guide by this time next week about numbers, so the sooner you rsvp the better, these things fill up really quick (only 80 seats available). Normally with our amazing group you know within 48 hours of a promotion the popularity of it.

Must rsvp by Friday 9th of December. There are only 80 tickets available for each of these sessions, 16 already taken.

PAYMENTS BY:

Single Parents Active Kids will pay the inital $25 per person (hence the reason for the requirement for fundraising and so on) after the 9th of December deadline.

Final payments in our account by Friday 17th of March, yes more than 3 months after your seats are held for you via a deposit by our amazing group.
