• Date Sunday 29th of October, starting time 12 noon, finishing time 4.30, we have the hall from 12 noon to 5pm.
  
• Address is 64 Clyde st Thornbury.
  
• Very kid friendly location with playground out the back.
  
• Bring your own food and drink, no alcohol.
• Kids are very much part of the day, half the questions will be aimed at the youngsters.
• Cost is $10 per person a table of 10 is $80.
• Like last year, there will be a Gift bag give away for every person that attends, the contents of the  Gift bag will be worth a lot more then the entry cost (Lovely Lisa has already put her hand up get this organised for us again, what a legend)!
  
• There will be silent auctions/live auctions/jelly bean counts/games, such as closest to the bottle and more (any ideas on games please shoot them through).
• There are a few ideas running through this head at the moment to add yet more fun to the day (I will let one out of the bag, ask a member to bake lots of muffins/cupcakes on the day and sell them for say 50 cents each), would love your input.
  

TRIVIA:
I am looking at 100 questions total done in blocks of 10, 50 of the 100 will be aimed at the youngsters?? Renae will help me in the lead up to the day in getting the questions together. All phones and electronic items will be switched off during question times.
If anyone is good at technology and is able to have a music block of 10, please let me know.

SILENT AUCTION/JELLY BEAN COUNT:
I am hoping to get at least 50+ items to bid on. Bidding will start Friday 25th of August, 2 months out from the big dance, I will again set up a facebook page specific for the event and we can also do E-mail bidding.

• Please participate even if you are not able to attend by bidding on the silent auction.
• I would love at least one major item, worth more than $1000, hopefully one of our wonderful members knows someone that knows someone that know someone!
  
• Electronic bidding on the silent auction items/raffles and jelly bean count will stop at 11 am of the big day itself, so Sunday 29th of October.
  

ANYONE CAN ATTEND:
This is not a members only event at all, more than happy for you to invite your mates from outside our wonderful group to attend.

YOUR HELP REWARDS:
Would love for as many members to get involved as possible with helping out by approaching stores for donations, asking your friends that own stores, your local butcher/hairdresser/supermarket/office works/masters and so on. There are many ways you can help and rewards will come your way:

• Let’s keep it oh so simple, the first way you can help is by rsvp”ing straight away and coming along and enjoying the day.
• Ask your mates to come along and get a table of 10 together, if you are able to get a table of 10 together you will get rewarded with 12 months added to your membership. If you and another member are able to get that table of 10 together, 6 months will be added each.
• If you are not a member yet but can get a table of 10 together, you become a member for 12 months and get to enjoy a wonderful day with fellow single parents and their oh so active kids.
  
• If you can get an item/voucher donated for the value of under $100 6 months will be added to your membership. Over $100 12 months will be added to your membership.
• You can help by bidding on the items.

NUMBERS/RSVP’S/PAYMENTS:
This hall holds 50, I would love to think we would get very close to that number (the aim is to have one major fund-raiser per financial year).
We will work out numbers on each table as the rsvp’s unfold.
