Cruise Great Barrier Reef

Good Afternoon Fellow Single Parents Active Kids how are we and those ripper youngsters?? As recently as last night I was talking about the South pacific Cruise at the same time of the year, but I thought I would try one more look for a cruise within Australia so passports are not required which will hopefully mean more single parents and their kids will come along. This cruise looks fantastic.

THIS IS WHAT I NEED IN YOUR INITIAL REPLY/A FEW ITEMS TO CONSIDER

  • 170% Certainty, once you are booked in with your names, very hard to get a refund. A customer through my business lost $200 due to no longer being able to go, so if not sure wait until you are.

  • Would you like to share, as you will see in the prices per person cheaper in a quad then a triple then a twin.

  • I need your full names as per passports, dates of births and current address please.

  • Very kid friendly cruise, info below.

  • You are more than welcome to go without your kids and share with with parents in the same boat or families that have room, keeps the cost down for them and you.

  • The prices I have quoted below are the prices that gives us time to pay a deposit and then not until April to pay final amount.

  • The prices I have quoted below ARE NOT group prices, once we get the 5 cabins required to get group bookings we will get further discounts.

  • The first day of this cruise is a Friday, the same day as kids finish their second term, you will need for them to miss that day/half a day.

  • It will be wise to go up on Thursday 28th of June.

  • No reason at all why we can not go from the Cruise in Brisbane to enjoying the Gold Coast and the theme parks (apparently a great new ride at Movie World that is extreme) there for a 5-7 days, keeping in mind school holidays are for 2 weeks and kids don’t go back until Monday 16th of July.

  • The reason I am promoting for then 12 months before is to make it as affordable as possible, as an example if I was to say yes I am keen to go and start paying weekly instalments for Renae and I in a twin share, there are about 40 weeks between now and final payment time, i would pay $61.70 per week (that for the 2 of us), if we were to share in a quad share that will come down to $45.70 per week (that’s for the 2 of us).

HANDY INFO:

My questions are in red, their answers are black:

The big question from my point of view, is if I was to promote the Cruise now based on the current prices on your website which I am happy to do to get the ball rolling and then get some sort of guide on early numbers:

If/When a special comes up with better prices and on board credits and so on, we will be in a position to be shifted to the better deal because we are a group booking or will those specials be aimed at new customers only??
Cruise Company Answer:

It will depend on the promotion and terms and how far from sailing.

If cabins/child space is available and you are outside 181 days we can generally rebook you.

Inside 181 days cancellation fees often apply to rebook on new promotions.

  • Should we look at booking now??

This is up to you.  By booking now you are sure you will get cabins on the cruise you want, especially as a larger group.  it also means you are more likely to get cabins near each other if you go for cabin numbers.

Especially if there are children involved as many cruise lines limit the number of children allowed onboard as well.

  • If there are any specials that come up if we have already booked is that too late??

Specials always come out and we don’t know when these are til just before, if a sailing is not sold out then last minute deals may come up, but as explained you may not get everyone onboard

  • How many cabins do we need to get group bookings?

You need a minimum 5 cabins for group discounts

  • What discounts are available for group bookings?

It depends on the number of cabins and the categories chosen.
