Caribbean Cruise + USA Adventure

I forever talk about bucket list items, the way this holiday is coming together, it’s better then any bucket list item I may have had:
Good Evening Fellow Single Parents Active Kids how are we and those inspirational champs?? This is perhaps one of the most exciting events/holiday I have had the opportunity to promote, I do ask you read carefully as there is a lot of info to take in. Please, please do not rsvp unless you are certain, must be a member now and when the holiday occurs to take advantage of this unbelievable opportunity!

INTRODUCTION:
The Cruise will be leaving Port Canaveral 2nd of January, you will see the itinerary and more friendly ship (has a slide and outdoor cinema) below, has been brought forward as there have been at least 5 families say to me can’t go so late in January, yours truly can’t go on the original date, so a change was necessary and the idea is to maximise numbers and fun.
This is definitely a once in a lifetime trip, all you have to do is read the subject line to see this is something oh so special and getting better by the day, we keep on finding new exciting elements like the rides in Las Vegas, info below!

PLAN:
Basically put if we are going to head to USA let’s make the most of it, we all know the flights are the most expensive, but we have had some good news about that part as well, read the flights paragraph please. Grand Canyon is one of the 7 wonders of the world. There is so much on offer, let’s make the most of this amazing opportunity. The great aspect of the below tours the first one being my favourite, is they all include accommodation, another piece of the puzzle looked after.
Leave Melbourne on or even before Xmas, depending on flight prices, but hopefully about 20th of December would be great.
Enjoy one of the following tours 1) http://www.tours4fun.com/7-day-grand-canyon-west-sea-world-universal-studios-bus-tour-package.html  2) http://www.tours4fun.com/7-day-deluxe-west-coast-tour-package.html 3) http://www.tours4fun.com/4-day-skywalk-west-grand-canyon-las-vegas-tour-package.html#overview
White Xmas, yes we see in lots of movies, here is another chance to make dreams into a collective reality!
Once we get back to Los Angeles head to Florida, where we will be spending New Years Eve and day. Disney Worlds there look incredible, enjoy a couple at least before our cruise and a couple after.
2nd of January Cruise on Carnival Valor to the Caribbean, OMG look at the itinerary below!
After the Cruise finish the theme parks and make sure Cape Canaveral is enjoyed as well.
I am hoping to book a flight coming back to Melbourne from Florida 18th/19th of January.
LOS ANGELES, LAS VEGAS, GRAND CANYON:
The thought process is if we are going to go to U.S.A. we might as well make the most of it, for most this will definitely be a once off.
This tour includes Disney Land or Disney California Adventure, Sea World in San Diego, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam-Grand Canyon, Chocolate Factory, Shopping and Universal Studios!
Here is a link to something that looks great: http://www.tours4fun.com/7-day-grand-canyon-west-sea-world-universal-studios-bus-tour-package.html
Includes accommodation and so on, please remember prices are in American and the person we are dealing with to make this magic happen can also help in getting deals such as the link!

OPTIONS:
You can do as much as you like or as little as you like:
Come to Los Angeles with us, enjoy the tour highlighted above, enjoy Disney World, head to Florida and enjoy more Disney fun as well as Cape Canaveral and then the Caribbean Cruise.
Head straight to Florida and just concentrate on the Cruise.
Just do Los Angeles and the tour we have promoted as well as other possible tours.
Please when you rsvp let me know which way your intent!

COMMITMENT PAYMENTS:
We will need half of your bond (for the cruise, have a look at the bonds for the cruise paragraph) payments and at least half of your flight payments by February (have a look at the flights paragraph) for this to work properly. There is no way our group can be out of pocket due to someone changing their minds.
Obviosuly the beauty of being a part of single parents active kids is we will help you where we can! I think you can see by the detail of the info in this E-mail that a lot of thought and planning has gone into a once in a lifetime holiday!

FLIGHTS:
This is massive news, I have been in very regular contact with my contact at the Flight Centre. She said to me flights going to Los Angeles from Melbourne, then getting an internal flight to New York and then another internal flight to Florida (originally we were thinking of going to New York for New Years Eve, but the risk of bad weather to get ready for our Caribbean Cruise has removed that option, so flights may yet come down even more as there is only one internal flight rather then 2) should not exceed $2000 per person. She actually gave me some lower figures, but I would rather put that out there now.
There is going to be an early bird special in February, so if you are dead set keen make sure you have your money for the flights ready by then. Single Parents Active Kids is obviously prepared to help out where we can, but you would need to pay a minimum of half of your families flights for that to happen.
Just an important part of deadline with this company, the flights 5 of us got for the up-coming trek was much cheaper then anything we could find, so there are a lot of bonuses through booking with the mighty single parents active kids.

SHIP:
Carnival valor has a water slide an outdoor cinema, the slide won my attention, here is all the info you need to know about the ship:

PACKAGE:
The mindset and the reason I have gone with the company that I have is to set this trip up as a package, flights/cruise/accommodation even hopefully group tickets to the Disney Worlds. So that’s why in your initial E-mail I need to know about your intent for flights/cruise/tours and so on..

CABINS:
Twin Share, Triple Share or Quad Share. Your beds are made for you, towels are replaced everyday, so don’t need to take towels along as you can also take towels off the ship! That’s the main reason we all must pay gratuities! Gratuities basically means compulsory tipping, works out to $12 American per person per day, that is included in your price below!
To keep costs down I would highly recommend sharing where possible.
If you are a parent and want to come by yourself, that is also very much an option, we can like we did for South Pacific Cruise get you into a room with other parents travelling with single parents active kids!

RSVP:
Please only rsvp if you are a million per cent sure, as a few members know pulling out of a Cruise and getting a refund is really hard to do, so be totally sure before you give me the following details:
Full name as per passport including middle name/s.
Date of Birth of you and your kids.
Current Address.
Mobile Phone Number.
If you want us to look for flights for you or if you want to do that for yourself.
Cabin type, if you are looking at sharing, e.g. you are coming with your youngster and would like to share with another family in the same boat.
You are more then welcome to come by yourself, as 6 parents did for South Pacific and they all had a ball and credit to all of them, they were definitely part of the fun.
If you have 4 kids or more, you are still more then welcome to attend, one of your kids can share with another family, it will make their trip even cheaper.
Flights, are you going to look for your own or will your payments include flights.
PULLING OUT AFTER YOU HAVE RSVP’D:
The only way this can happen is if you are sharing with another family, then we can replace you, but if you have booked a cabin just for your family it will be hard very hard to get you a refund.
If you are in a parents only cabin, say there are 4 of you, if one of you pulls out that is okay as long as we can replace you.
The general rule is need a minimum of 1 person from the original booking in that cabin, that has been confirmed by the company we are dealing with!

BOND PER CABIN:
They require half per cabin asap, single parents active kids will help where we can, it will all come down to communication and how keen you are!
MAXIMUM PRICE/INCLUDES GRATUITIES:
Something really important to keep in mind, the prices below are the maximum prices we will pay. Have made a deal with the company I am dealing with, that if any specials come up for the same Cruise, we will be moved to the lower price no issues at all. The company I am dealing with are very confident there will be specials along the way, but no guarantees.
Gratuities I have decided to add to the prices straight up, these are compulsory tips/service fees, I was tinkering with the idea of giving members the option of paying while on board or beforehand, logistically having them as part of the Cruise fair works a lot better for all concerned.

COST/CABINS:
Twin share total cost: $3039, $1519.5 per person (108.55 per day) these prices include about $220 worth of government taxes + approx $180 per person gratuities.
Triple Share total cost: $3857 so $1285.65 per person ($91.85 per day), these prices include about $220 worth of government taxes + approx $180 per person gratuities.
Quad share total cost: $4673.8 so $1168.25 ($83.45 per day) per person ,  these prices include about $220 worth of government taxes + approx $180 per person gratuities.

$10 CAMP/HOST ADMINISTRATION FEE:
Every parent needs to pay $10 camp host/administration fee, this fee is not included in the above prices.

PASSPORTS:
Must have a valid and current passport for this adventure.

INSTALMENTS:
1st Instalment Wednesday 14th of January
2nd Instalment Wednesday 25th of February.
3rd Instalment Wednesday 8th of April.
4th Instalment Wednesday 20th of May
5th Instalment Wednesday 1st of July.
6th Instalment Wednesday 5 of August.
7th and Final Instalment Wednesday 9th of September.
What we are asking with instalments is the first one must be paid for on time and the last one, the middle 5 are all guides.
If you wish to make a large payment for first instalment you are welcome, keeping in mind the cheap flights will be available in February!
You are more then welcome to do what I have done and set up a fortnightly (week that my pay goes in) deduction out of my account straight into Single Parents Active kids account, info below.
I have already paid close to $2000 straight into our account, so approximately $4000 still owing, so by my calculations there are 21 fortnights to go until that final payment is due in our account to cover Cruise and Flights.
21 x 200= $4200, perfect.

ACCOUNT DETAILS/DESCRIPTION:
Single Parents Active Kids bsb 033073 acc 41288 Cruise is the description we need!
SAVINGS:
We had already saved $2957 Australian when we saw the first deal(for twin share), we then have saved a further $614.10 per quad, $539 per triple, $542.80 for twin. This all because we are booking through single parents active kids, simply amazing numbers!

CONVENIENCE:
The South Pacific Cruise was the most convenient possible holiday you can have, hence this opportunity presented to you. Food/activities/shows/kids club and so much more all on board and paid for, you can do as much as you like or as little as you like.

SUMMARY:
Bucket list items don’t get much bigger and better then this hey?? Renae and I sat down today looking at amazing rides in Las Vegas, different items to do while we are on the islands on the Cruise, WOW, this looks even better then first thought, WOW!
Who would have thought when we started single parents active kids back in 2008 that this would be even spoken about let alone within reach, simply incredible what can be done when you truly believe.
“There are no limits” has been a motto from the start of our journey, and wow are we living up to it or what??
Thank you single parents active kids for presenting the most amazing opportunities ever!
